It’s no secret that we Italians love our food. A meal is not just a meal; it’s usually an affair that runs hours long and full of elaborate food that will have you in a foodie’s paradise! We’d just like to share with you  some the antipasti’s that everyone looks forward to when they’re in the Tuscany area so that you know what to look for and make sure you get a bite of it!

Fettunta:  It amazing what can come out of some bread and olive oil! It really is! This amazing little antipasti is so easy to make and you’ll be extremely hard pressed to find a person who will not enjoy it!

Crostini ai Funghi: Mushroom Crostini, Mushroom is truly a hero in Italian cooking and we can hardly get enough of it! Crostini ai Funghi is simply porcini mushroom, bread, olive oil, salt and pepper. It’s astounding how so little can have so much flavour.

Crostini di Salsiccia e Stracchino: What is Italian food without cheese? Let’s not find out! This antipasti is a gorgeous combination of Tuscan style bread, stracchino cheese and some amazing Italian sausage! It can be heated in an oven or even eaten raw!

Bruschetta: Bruschetta has now pretty much become synonymous with Italian cuisine! How could you miss this one? Some amazing fresh tomatoes, bread and our most favourite ingredient ever, olive oil!

Fiori di Zucchini Ripieni in Forno: Stuffed Zucchini Flowers. This is one is slightly different and one you’re likely to find all over the place! The gorgeous flower of Zucchini is stuffed with ricotta, prosciutto, provola cheese and parmesan, coated in flour and then fried and the end result is drool worthy.
